As I’m recalibrating for fall, deciding on those nonessential details, like which eye looks to try and what hair accessories to pick up, I realized my fall moodboard started to look a little smokey and definitely a bit monochrome. If you haven’t shifted into that headspace yet, I have enough ideas to help you get started! Ahead are three simple eye looks to try for fall.
1. The Warm Look
Transition your warm weather favorites into fall to prolong your summer glow for as long as you can. I love Pat McGrath’s EYEdols in Burnished Honey for an updated fall look.
2. Shiny Smokey Eyes
I had saved this look from the Tom Ford NYFW show and it recently just made a reappearance on my Instagram feed. What I loved about this look was how effortless the layered cream shadow looked in gray and plum tones. A smokey look can sometimes look heavy, closing off the eye but I was drawn to the subtle textures!
3. Monochromatic Mauve
90s reddish-tans and browns are resurfacing in the beauty world and when done right, like in a monochromatic lids, lips and cheeks look, it can hit all the right places to give the face dimension. Pick your favorite lipstick shade (I love ILIA’s Multi-Stick), it can double as an eyeshadow, blush and lip.
Where do you turn to find your beauty inspiration? I’d love to know what fall looks you’re looking to try this season!
